CHAMPS

6-8 years-old

Developing the skills introduced in the Little Champs program, our Champs continue their martial arts training. Learning more advanced combinations of blocks, punches, jumps, and kicks, students are also challenged with basic forms or kata. Forms are routines of Chun Kuk Do building blocks, memorized by students who must perform them for belt testing.

Programs are designed to keep young ones engaged and progressing, not only on the path to their Black Belts, but in life.  Enhancing their athletic skills by learning basic self-defense techniques, hand strikes, blocks and kicks and their styling academics, students complete assignments designed to instill pride, respect, and personal responsibility. Late afternoon class times make it easy for busy families to join in karate fun.

Taught by Black Belt Instructors Mr. Mike Holstein, Mr. Nick Alden, and Mr. Chip Wright, these young martial artists are gaining skills, both physical and intellectual.

STUDENT CREED:

I will develop myself in a positive manner, and avoid anything that could reduce my mental growth
or physical health.

I will develop self-discipline in order to bring out the best in others and myself.

I will use common sense before self-defense and never be abusive or offensive.

This is a Black Belt School. We are dedicated; We are motivated; We are on a quest to be the best. Aasah!

Winners never quit. Quitters never win. And I choose to be a winner.
